1. Operator and service

DigestSEO is operated by Tomi Šeregi, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It publishes open-source Model Context Protocol servers including mcp-geo, mcp-gsc, and mcp-web-validator. The public Web Validator accepts user-supplied HTML or CSS and can fetch one authorized public HTML page. The free Site Audit returns one bounded technical snapshot using local checks, the Nu HTML Checker, and PageSpeed Insights. The DigestSEO workspace is available through account signup for saving Site Audit projects and managing audit history. Any future paid features may have additional order, pricing, and service terms.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must be legally able to use the service and must own or have authorization to submit the markup, stylesheet, or public URL you ask us to inspect. You are responsible for obtaining permission from website owners and for complying with laws and third-party terms that apply to the material you submit.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use DigestSEO to access private systems, submit credentials or sensitive personal data, probe systems without authorization, bypass the weekly Site Audit limit, send high-volume automated requests, interfere with upstream services, or attempt to access another user's data. Do not use the service to violate an upstream provider's terms, applicable law, or the rights of another person.

4. Inputs, outputs, and third parties

You retain responsibility for the content and URLs you submit. You give DigestSEO only the limited permission needed to fetch, validate, and return the requested result. Requests may contact the public page host, the Nu HTML Checker, Google PageSpeed Insights, Google OAuth or Search Console APIs, and other providers described in the privacy policy. Those providers control their own services and policies.

Reports are informational diagnostics, not legal, security, accessibility, performance, or search-ranking advice. A validation result, Lighthouse score, or SEO observation is not a guarantee of compliance, availability, traffic, or search position.

5. Open-source licenses and site content

The open-source repositories are licensed under the license included in each repository, generally MIT. Those licenses govern your use of the code and are separate from these website terms. DigestSEO's name, site content, branding, and documentation remain protected to the extent allowed by law and are not licensed merely by linking to a repository.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an AS-IS and AS-AVAILABLE basis without an uptime SLA. Limits, maintenance, errors, or changes at Cloudflare, Google, the Nu HTML Checker, or another upstream provider may affect a result. We may change, suspend, or discontinue a feature to protect the service, comply with law, or respond to upstream changes. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a new date.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when you breach these terms, create a security or legal risk, or abuse the service or its upstream providers. Open-source licenses remain governed by their own terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DigestSEO, its operator, and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 0 if you have not paid us. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory rights available to consumers.

9. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what data is processed, why it is processed, which providers may receive it, and how to exercise your rights.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Slovenia, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
